Description 

The DGS-1210 Series from D-Link is a family of “Smart Managed” (also called Web Smart) Gigabit Ethernet switches targeted at small to medium business networks. 

The DGS-1210-28 is a 28-port model (24 RJ-45 Gigabit + 4 combo RJ-45/SFP) that offers advanced Layer-2 features, limited Layer-3 (static routing) capabilities, and flexible management options (web UI, SNMP, CLI). 

There are variants with PoE support (e.g. DGS-1210-28P, DGS-1210-28MP) which include power delivery over Ethernet for devices like IP cameras, access points, etc. 

The DGS-1210-28 (non-PoE) is fanless, making it suitable for quiet environments. 

It also supports energy-saving features (D-Link Green / IEEE 802.3az) to reduce power when ports are idle or shorter cable lengths are used.
